    I thought this article had so many similarities to losing one's spouse to dementia.

    Yup, brain injury/trauma or brain rot . . . its the same thing really. The person who has it is just not the same person.
    Something that is missed in the AD world when the focus is on grand/parents . . . BUT NOT HERE! We get it :-)
