This is from the AA forum, Source: American Academy of Neurology) - With only a few weeks until the deadline, the American Academy of Neurology Foundation is reminding everyone affected by brain disease to submit a short video to its 2012 Neuro Film Festival, telling your story about why more research is needed to cure brain disease. Winners could receive up to $1,000 and a trip to New Orleans. The deadline to enter is January 31, 2012, at http://www.NeuroFilmFestival.com.
"Every video helps us make the case as to why more research is needed to help find a cure for the one in six people affected by brain disease," said Dr. John Mazziotta, Chair of the American Academy of Neurology Foundation's Board of Trustees.
The third annual Neuro Film Festival aims to raise awareness about the need to donate money for research into finding a cure for brain diseases, such as Alzheimer's, stroke, autism, Parkinson's and multiple sclerosis. More than 200 films have been submitted since the Festival began.

OK...Poop Queen and others...give them a real shock. Make some videos of how your bathrooms look, how the new white rug looks, how the walls look, how the bed looks and how the toilet looks filled to the top with TP....I bet that will make head spin. Let them know this is what many of you have to go through because of this horrible brain problem. Maybe they will speed up the researh.
That's actually a Really Good Idea Judith. A montage, in video, of the disasters. It will include poop scenes, show us running down the street looking for escapees, show my husband trying to climb in the car without falling on his buns or shutting his hand in the door. The possibilities are endless if there were only some excellent way to submit clips to one person with iMovie.
Vickie...that sounds like our place..still no wallet from that last time...Dear St Anthony couldn't even help, must be in a good place. Boy, wouldn't they have their eyes opened to see how it really is in our world!
My husband lost is wallet sometime before Christmas. No clue where it went. He never goes anywhere by himself. Had to get him a new ID. I now carry all his cards. He got a new wallet for Christmas. All that's in there is a card I printed up with his name, my name and phone number and his diagnosis. We lost that wallet the other day. I finally found it behind the laundry hamper. Who knows where the first one is.
Our last "lost wallet" went threw the wash cycle-I ask why in the world did you put it in the washer and his earnest reply was"the man on tv said it was best to lanudry the money first" ok we did that along with everything else in the wallet! Why can he do what they say on tv but not understand me when I say"pull your pants down before you sit on the toilet"
