Not long ago there was a post listing some cheap sites to go to for prescriptions. Could you please tell me those again. Thanks.

My dh takes plavex. It just went up to $150 for a 90-day supply through Blue Medicare RX. It's been $37.50 in the past for 90 days. It's time to go elsewhere. I've heard that Canada is a good place to have prescriptions filled.

    Thanks for your help.

At one time it was illegal to buy drugs from Canada. On ocasion they were stopped at the border and not delivered. That being said I ordered drugs from the web site below. Generics were available much earlier than here. The branded drugs I ordered actually came from the USA at a much lower price. When husband's RX was due for renewal they actually contacted his MD.

Check out Walmart for $4 prescriptions - needs to be generic. I think Walgreen's has a similar program.

If you have United Health Care, several drug stores, grocery stores and other places changed most generics to $2 for 30 day supply, beginning this year.

Thanks very much for all of your help. I went into the Canadian site, searching for Plavix. They do have it, and it's much cheaper for those who don't have insurance. Since we do have insurance, their price didn't help me. DH has a doctor's appointment the middle of the month. I'll ask his pcp whether she can prescribe a different cheaper med than Plavix.
