I am in the middle of this book and would like to recommend it to those who can relate to the recent discussions of "I'm no longer myself" and "Resigned and Lonely" and all the similar threads that are so common to this situation.

Don't be put off by the subtitle: A Buddhist-Inspired Guide for the Chronically Ill and Their Caregivers. You do not have to know or accept any Buddhist philosophy to appreciate the wisdom found in the pages of the book... And it is definitely just as useful to the caregiver as to the ill person.
