I have CNN as my "home page" on my computer (cnn.com). Today, in honor of Alzheimer Month, they had a series of photographs by Greg Segal of Alzheimer patients with an insert of a photo from their youth. It was very impressive.
Afraid to look. Hurts too much. It's been 6 months and I melt down looking at photos of my dh before and after AD. Were there any comments on the CNN page of the photo essay?
Wow Marsh thanks for pointing that montage out. It was beautiful and also what a good reminder for me that my dh still has his healthy self inside him always. Sometimes I forget that.
This just makes me cry. How sad that the person they are becoming is so far removed from the person they were. It now becomes our job to remember who they were........
