    Are there any meds that help with the above? DH is on Sertraline (Zoloft), Seroquel as well as Aricept and Namenda. For a while whatever was helping was doing it's job but the past couple of weeks the hallucinations and pranoia are cropping up more often. I cannot stand either of them especially together.... I may end up having a screaming fit!

    I would think if it worked before, they may just need adjustments in dosage

    The dosage on the Sertraline and Seroquel has been raised. Sertaline to 100mg and Seroquel to 75mg.

    How long has he been on Aricept and Namenda? Aricept does cause hallucinations in some patients, I know- been there, done that!

    Vickie, DH has been on Aricept since he was Dx'd in September 2007.

    If you give Aricept in the p.m., trying switching to a.m. - or vice-versa and see if that will help. I had to quit DH's at night. Then I stopped it altogether almost two years ago. No hallucinations since. He's also on Sertraline and it works well.

    Jean21, if you have a screaming fit let me know when it is so I can have one with you!! lol I was told a long time ago that screaming was not a bad thing, it was actually theraputic.
