Murray, my friend passed away this evening. I have been his caregiver for about 10 yrs, and I found him at home, slumped over in his chair. In the past few months, I have gone from being a caregiver to 3 people, and now all I have left is my mom. Both my kids were with me at Murrays, then I just learned that Kim's chocolate lab, Briar, passed away at 9:45. SO we are all grieving for the loss of a friend, but also for the loss of a wonderful pet.....Kim is bawling her eyes out, and this is just adding to our already existing grief.
aww phranque, when it rains it pours. tears literally. i am so sorry about all your losses. you went out of your way to help murray and know he appreciated it. the burdens get less but the heartaches heavier. and pets, well, they are family and we cherish them as much as our human counterparts. i know this cant be easy for you and them. sending condolences - divvi
Phranque, I'm so sorry for all of the losses. Pets are as much family as friends and relatives. I understand your grief, and my heart is with you. You've been through an awful lot in a very short time. Sending strength and love your way.
Sounds like too much for ay one person to have to face. We are all thinking about you in your time of grief. You are such a caring person and your loses are great right now...Bless you and your family.
I am so sorry for all the sorrow you and your family has been thru lately. God is definitley with you giving all of you strength. Hug Kim and tell her I know how she feels since we have lost three puppies in the last month. Yes, they are more family than some human family members. Hugs and prayers for all of you.
Dear Phranque, I am so sorry for the loss of your dear friend so soon after your beloved wife. You have been a wonderful and generous caregiver to those you love. Please let Kim know we feel her pain too because all of us who have "dog children" know how deep the pain of loss is too. You and your wonderful family have suffered too many losses in such a short period of time. My heart and prayers are with you and your family. I am glad to know you. <<HUGS>>
ok Phranque, you've had enough grief to last a lifetime nows the time for that big boat an some Phranque time that we talked about at breakfast, the only thing stoping me from spending the winter in Naples is this big black lab laying next to my chair, but if things should change I'll look ya up again
The only thing keeping me off that big boat is a small toy poodle licking my face, and Carnival Cruise lines did not want to sell their boat.......But I can rent a rowboat if you come to Naples.......thanks for the thoughts..
Oh, Phranque, I am so sorry that you have lost your friend, Murray. It doesn't seem fair that you must endure so much heartache. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. It is also so sad about the granddog. I hope Kim is okay.
Phranque, dittos from here. I've read some of your posts. Still new to this site, after reading all these responses my first thought was "my god, what a family you have here." May you find your strength again.
