We are not all that far away. My Mother-in-law is alive and well...just outside of Boston...as is all of Johnny's siblings... You are a very remarkable human being....I know. I know....this is NOT the way it should have gone... Talk soon...? Love ya, Robyn
Hi Robyn, so good to see a post from you! Yes I live in New Hampshire :) I still do not know what I ever did to make you think me remarkable, but I thank you for the compliment.
"not sure what to do" ..... can you help us out here Robyn? Maybe give us a little bit more information? I know I would really like to help you, as I am sure the other wonderful folks here would too. I know you don't post often, it is often difficult to open up and share our inner thoughts. Just know, we are here for you ♥ I have thought of you and Johnny often since your last post..... you both remain in my thoughts ((hugs))
Brady, the minute my foot hits the floor in the morning I feel the same way "Not sure what to do" Without knowing specifics all I can say is that you put one foot in front of the other and when you run into a problem..."punt" or do the best you can and that includes coming here for your own sanity!!! We need to keep our sanity no matter what, so whenever you see it waning come here for a booster shot!
My Love Of My Life...Just like all of Us...is living in a NH in Syracuse, Ny. He walks all day long in circles and drools. He was a "famous" runner for New Balance...and my guess is the reason...is that is why he walks ALL DAY...is because of all that running. He also was a very smart man...Just like all of Us....College Proff...PHd from Maryland....where, our youngest is off to in 2 short weeks. My mom. is a woman who had a wonderful life with my dad...he died 3 years ago (9/13) my birthday...Oh well, she has become more of a tough nut to deal with than my sweet Johnny. He just turned 55. John moved into an adult place almost 2 years ago....where I went everyday for lunch...kisses, dances and all of that. Very quickly...oh so very quickly he went suddenly down hill...time to find a NH...which I did...anyways. thanks for all the love and support. You guys are simply the best.
And, yes, Nikki...I DO think you are quite remarkable... Love, Robyn
Robyn, this is a tough journey for all of us, even harder still on those who have such young spouses... so tragic, and though it doesn't help, I am very sorry this has happened to your Johnny, to you.
I lost my Dad 3 years ago as well, the compounded loss is a lot for one soul to take...... *sigh*
Are you able to visit often with Johnny in the NH? It is difficult isn't it.......
Its all so difficult, some days better, some days worse... but every day there are people here who truly care. Come often, we can walk our journeys together... ((Hugs))
