Our doctor suggested that dh use Benefibre to, well, hold things together. I already give him 2 Immodium tabs/day and still he has accidents so I'm going to try this out , as well. Do any of you use Benefibre? If so, how much do you give your lo each day and how well has it worked for preventing those unwanted incidents??

    Thanks for your help.

I use Konsly-D for my cat..she is on a special diet that hasn't quite enough whatever so that her little poopers are proper so she doesn't have accidents out side her litter box. The vet told me to start slowly with her, a quarter of a teaspoon up to one teaspoon. She gets the quarter and it is enough for her. Now I realize a cat is not a human but I would deduct from this to start out as the directions on the bottle suggest and slowly add some until the right dose is achieved.

I don't know about the imodium in the mix tho.

when DW was in nursing home recently the Dr put her on cholestryramine oral suspension. stops diarhia in its tracks. i mixed it with orange flavored pedialyte works very well but bowel movements have to be monitored so that they dont become constipated
