Yes, that's the one. He went there from VGH after he had a spontaneous fracture of his coccyx at age 87. I wish I had let him stay there, but he fought it because he had to share a bathroom. I moved him to one on near Kerrisdale. It had had a good reputation but came under new ownership and went downhill from then on. The turnover rate was terrific. Unable to get back into Point Grey Private Hospital, I moved him to Louis Brier. The next time you've in Vancouver, maybe we could get together.

Oh, so many losses this year....both on the forum here and in our local support group...I am so sorry for your loss. It was such a generous thing you have done for your husband and for science. I hope soon there is a way to find a cure or better meds to keep victims stable...

blessings and peace be yours and your family.

H has also stated in his health care proxy that he wants his brain donated to science/research.

This has been affected by his age, now 52, and the reluctance of medical professionals to accept that it is AD related. He executed a legal document to enact this before, well, before now. I hope when and if that time comes his experience can be of some benefit to others.

How often do we ALL think maybe its something else? Maybe we need a different medication or maybe we need another brain scan or maybe there's something ELSE that we should be doing? Barbara, thank you so much for sharing these results with us. Best wishes as you continue to heal and revive
