I agree with Bluedaze*...I wish I could be there..just to keep everyone sitting on that Grand Jury focused on what is right and just and keep lawyers sneaky tricks out of the picture. I'will definitely keep you in my prayers tonight. I have confidence in the truth.

Just got the call. He was Indicted on 7 counts; 2 first deg. murder; 2 armed robbery; possession of firearm by a felon; grand theft-auto; and fraudulent use of credit cards. Felt sorry for his mother, who testified against him. So sad.

At least this part is over and he isn't going anywhere. Trial will be 1-3 years. The justice system that I have worked in for over 30 years is very slow!

Thank you all for your prayers and support. Don't know what I'd do without you all!

Well it is slow, and I hope he gets the max. I think it is odd at least in Texas they do not tell the Jury what it means when they give a sentence. I know someone who abused my daughter when she was 12 yrs old. They gave him 35 years, out in 18 months on good behavior and on parole.

Vickie at least now you can breathe easier.
  7.
Vickie, was there a newspaper article about the Grand Jury Indictment. He can't have any defense at all.... what a nightmare.
    Lovin you

maybe he will take a plea bargain so you don't have to wait. I don't like what plea bargains often come up with and I know they plead innocent in the beginning otherwise they would not be able to plea bargain.
