Monday, Jan. 24th my DH Kenny went home to be with the Lord. After 3yrs of struggle, with me and our sons at his bedside he peacefully died. Please don't refuse the help of hospice during this difficult time. Ken went into hospice care at home the beginning of Dec. Honestly, I kind of bucked the idea because I didn't want to believe the end was that near. Ten days before his death, it became evident that the end was coming. Hospice was there to help as we needed, stepped back when we wanted them to. Kenny had a beautiful, peaceful and painless death, with respect and surrounded by love. I'm very sad and will miss him so much but, happy he is at peace. Thank you for the years of support, even if I usually was just looking on. God bless and help you all.

Thank you so much for your comments, it means so much because you are sharing the same road. Everyone has left now to go back home and I'm alone. Really alone for the first time in 48yrs. But, your comments helped lift my spirit. Ken was a believer in the Lord and I know where he is and that he wouldn't want to come back. So now I'll just rest in Jesus' arms. Thank you all again.
