Doe's anyone watch this show? One of our friends called me this afternoon all excited about his guest Dr. Joe Mercola who apperantly has some snake oil that will slow and possbly even revese AD. She suggested I watch as it may help Mar. I was just getting supper ready and told her he is just another quack, but thanks for thinking of us. I don't watch Dr. Oz and this is re-enforcement to why.

I have watched Dr. Oz. He is a renowned heart surgeon in NYC. I like a lot of what he says but when it comes to AD I have never heard anything close to truth. When he does talk about it I get the feeling he believes it is all the persons fault. That is they had taken better care of yourself, you would have it. I even got so angry after one show, I sent him an email but never heard back. I have rarely watched him since.

I have never watched him and now I diffenetly will not be watching. That is just insane to think that it is the persons fault that they have alzheimer's or any other kind of dementia. He doesn't have a clue!

I love his show and have gotten a lot of information from him. I will check out his show since I record all of them.

I haven't seen too many of his shows, and didn't see the subject one. But it seems to me that his gimmick is to be upbeat and talk about prevention a lot; the problem is, with AD there is nothing proven for prevention and certainly nothing upbeat, so if something was presented in this vein it was probably misleading.

i LIKE DR OZ, OF COURSE HE IS TALKING PREVENTION, BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT DOESNT WORK FOR EVERY CASE!!!!!!!nOBODY COULD POSSIBLY DO EVERYTHING HE WANTS YOU TO.

He needs to read that article that has the link on our home page about the doctor who took every pill he read about that could possibly help, lived a healthy livestyle and still had AD.

But I do agree, he gives a lot of good advice/suggestions. What impressed me about him is that he is a renowned heart surgeon who admits there is a place for alternative treatments aka supplements, vitamins, acupuncture, massage, etc.
