Did any one else watch Law and Order last night? The show was about a family who had early-onset az. I think that they did a good job of discussing Sundowning and several other symptoms. They did not do a very good job of showing the reality of it, however.

No, I watch the CBS shows on Monday night. If I had known, I would have recorded it. Many shows are now doing episodes on AD. Some are pretty good, others, no so good. Was it the regular Law and Order or SVU?
It was SVU. It involved a family where an uncle and a late-40s nephew both had alz. The uncle was in politics and had a hard time with the family trying to cover it up. The father of the nephew used family doctors and lied to the nephew about his illness. The show was pretty good and it really showed sundowning quite well. It used the alz as the unknown factor in all of the family's problems and the real reason didn't come out until towards the end of the show.
May be a repeat. I don't watch much late-night TV but I would guess a repeat. DH was sleeping on the couch and woke up before the story line developed. They talked about evenings being hardest, described symptioms of sundowning, and some other items that fit DH. When the show got over, DH said "huh" and that was his full comment. I didn't say anything either. He has been pretty quite and in good nature since.
