Our hospital has a SHIP representative (I forget what the acronym stands for), but she is available to help seniors review and evaluate various plans (using computer) to see what's best for them. (She doesn't receive $ from insurance providers.) It's a state provided service--maybe available in other states, too. Excellent for those who don't have computer access or aren't computer savy. She spoke to a group of seniors yesterday, and I was surprised at the number who said, "I bought the best when I started and haven't thought any more about it."
