Imagine my surprise when I opened my e-mail this morning, and was notified that The Alzheimer Spouse Blog was rated #20 in the top 50 blogs about Alzheimer's Disease according to the Healthcare Administration Blog. My mission, from the beginning, has been to bring awareness of the unique issues faced by spouses of Alzheimer patients, and to let spouses know they are not alone in their conflicting emotions. I hope this listing helps to spread that information far and wide.
Congratulations, Joan, on a job very well done! You have been and are an inspiration to us all. The information and support we receive from this site is priceless!
Yes congratulations Joan! I'm actually surprised the Blog was not rated higher! I recommend and speak of its benefits to many people--it has helped me immensely!
A big hooray for you Joan! Your website was a great comfort to me during the time my sweetheart was still alive and is still comforting as I attempt to adjust to being single again. You have kept the site meaningful, loving, and without the frictions that have beset other forums that are on the internet. I wish you the best this wonderful CHristmas season and pray that you receive a special unique gift , whatever you wish, this year to add to your memories.
You are brave. You are awesome. I have watched since two weeks before Site came out (and it was just a hint in cyberspace). You plowed through so many computer hurdles. You work so hard and give so much to the huge world around you. Thank you Joan...
WOW!!! Good for you.....and us. I recommend your site so often I too thought it should be closer to the top but considering ALZ websites for the general public 20 is not so bad. You are an awesome woman!
Joan, the only reason you are number 20 on the healthcare administration blog is that the first nineteen were google.com. You are and deserve #NUMBER ONE
I agree with everyone else, this site is #1 for ME! I KNOW that I never would have survived the journey without this site. The members here are closer to me than most of my family and friends. When something happens, this is the first place I think to go. When I have a thought, question or worry, this is where I go. Joan, you have not just created a wonderful website, you have created a family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Alzspouse IS #1. Arms around, Susan*
