    DH took me to lunch and while there, got out the card and read it to me! Here it is:
    To My Wife, I love being married to you. I'm proud to be your husband and I wanted you to know that I see the special things you do, the kindness that you show...I see your strength and beauty, and the talents that you share, I notice when a room lights up, it's all because you're there...And I cant imagine anything more wonderful in life than all the love and pride I feel, just knowing you're my wife.
    Happy birthday with all my love...I love you with all my heart, S

    I can't find the words to say how very much this meant to me. The waitresses at the restaurant were crying, I was crying...DH wanted to know why we were all so sad and crying!

    Thank God for moments like this. He is the love of my life.

    vickie its got to be the happiest of birthdays to have that memory for life. i know that card will be carefully guarded. its so nice he was able to get that loving message to you. happy birthday to you!

    Tears in my eyes, Vickie. (I never cry.) That's beautiful. My dh is unfortunately way past choosing a card or even thinking of it.
