Just now at 10 p.m. my husband started tearing up his over-night depends into the toilet, again. I had to dig all the gel out into a big bag. Big fight. I'm at my wits end. Now he isn't wearing anything. If I put something on him he'll tear it up when he goes to the bathroom. If I don't put anything on, I guess the bed will get wet. HELP!

    Monika,
If he cannot take them off buy the sleep jump suits at buck and buck that zip up the back, I had to do that at one time with my husband.

My dh (usually) goes to bed with clean depends but will take them off the first time he goes to the toilet in the night and leave them on the bathroom floor. Then if he has to go again (and he usually does) he dribbles all the way across the bedroom carpet and bathroom tile floor. I've bought some washable rugs from IKEA to try to keep the carget clean and so far that has been working OK. So far he has not wet the bed at all after he comes back to bed with nothing on under his PJ top. (He will never consent to wear the bottoms.)

JeanetteB, you just described my husband's nighttime toilet habits...I cleaned up two episodes last night (large yawn)..he always had sat down (due to his height), but he waits too long before getting up to go...as soon as the pull ups descend, so does pee! I have rugs also, but am fearful of his tripping on them due to his falling behavior. Already sick of this!

Well, after my meltdown, I just didn't put anything on him. He is too independent to have a sleep jump suit. He got up every 2 hours, went to the bathroom, went back to bed. Bed was dry, I had rugs on the way to the bathroom, they were also dry. Ordering him a nightshirt today.
