Started to watch Dr Oz. I got furious. He is talking about obesity. He told the women that if they remain obese it will cause their brain to shrink due to Alzheimer's. If you are obese, according to him, you will get AD. I sent him an email telling him he needs to stop making false statements as they do not what causes it. That my fil, sil and hb were not obese yet they got it. That I know of more people that have AD and were not obese.
It ticks me off when someone that people look up to to tell the truth tells untruths. He has also touted diets, lack of exercise, lack of using your brain as causes.
I think he became known thanks to Oprah if I am not mistaken. I have watched him clean out people fridge and put them on exercise programs..I can't take him either. I did not see that program but had I I would have sent him a snarl too. My mom and uncle died of this disease, both were tall and slim and fit..and both were highly intelligent..my mom was a surgical supervisor and my uncle was the CEO of Sunkist from which job he retired. Dr Oz can jump in the lake without water wings.
