    A friend sent this from a woman in the support group she attends. The woman gladly gave permission to print but declined using her name. I like it.

    Who would have thought in those halcyon days
    Of love and laughter and plans well laid,
    That this time would come?

    I'm alone, yet see you in your comfortable chair
    With a sweet smile on those lips
    That kissed away my sorrows
    And kissed away my care..

    I see you, I touch you, I love you..
    Are you there?
    Do you hear my voice? Feel my love,
    Know I care?

    If only I knew what you think
    What you feel.
    If only I knew that you know
    I love you...still...

    Absolutely beautiful. I like it all but agree with ehamilton, the last verse says it all. Thanks Audrey for sharing that. I've copied it.
