I'm ashamed...I don't look at the score! I just play. I usually win the intermediate but seldom win the advanced...maybe that's why I don't look at the score!! I'll start checking it out.
My true love is sudoku...especially the jigsaw sudoku...
I do intermediate and my high score is 1181 and 23%. I do not try every game that is dealt me. If it does not look promising I click it away and try the next one. I play for fun after all and it's more fun if it looks like you have a chance.
I play the Windows Spider solitaire, four suites, and OF THE GAMES I PLAY, which is about a third of them, I EVENTUALLY win most of them by now, but with about 1115 as my highest score. This is with going back and restarting sometimes, backing up through a few moves (undo) sometimes. I regard the games as puzzles, not trying to get the highest score possible but making moves and redoing them, back and forth, like fitting jigsaw puzzle pieces together, until I get it right.
Spider replaced Free Cell. Now I play scrabulous and words with friends on the iTouch or through facebook, but no other games on facebook.
briegull I tried the four color just once but it gave me a headache (I must admit I didn't have my glasses on). Your score for the four suites is incredible -- I'm impressed.
I have a jigsaw puzzle out now and am torn between the two (spider solitaire and the jigsaw) and gardening and trying to keep DH occupied. Makes life interesting. The spider solitaire is a great thing to do while waiting for the day care van to come -- I have a good view from the window here and can see the van approaching. That's my excuse anyway.
I often play spider soltaire but never looked at the score. At night while chatting to friends on MSN is doing jigsaws & playing mahjong so I will be looking up your site Charlotte.
briegull, i need help! I win the advanced spider solitare at times, but not often! Glad to see that some like jigsaw puzzles. I keep one of those out at all times. I've always loved them. I keep a sudoku book (and pencil with eraser!) in my purse at all times. Now if I could just find time....oh, and I also love to read.

I can't believe myself. Swore I'd never even check this out and I generally don't like games. HOWEVER.....since DH has played the regular solitaire on his laptop for many years (never understood that) I decided to give it a look see. Showed it to DH and at first he didn't seem interested but I talked him into playing a beginners ONE SUITE game together sharing the mousepad. Sheezz.....can't believe I'm saying this. We had fun. Looking forward to playing some more. I think it will be a fun activity to share indoors and in this heat I'm desperately seeking something other than movies.
