I tried to find past discussions about AD symptoms being worse during a new moon but couldn't find them. I wonder if there's a new moon now. DH seems more confused than usual.

Thanks, Jean21. That's tomorrow. It's already started here. Is anyone else noticing a difference? I've been afraid he was going into another stage but hope it's just the full moon.

dazed we have full moon issues now for over a yr - DH becomes more incontinent, talks a blue streak, and generally more active than normal and hes stage 7. when he was ambulatory it meant getting into alot of things that were not good for him and stressful to me. now that he cant walk on his own without help its not a big deal and i enjoy the added interactions!

it can start a few days out and last past full moon. its quite the phenomenon. NH add more help during full moons i am told as well as police stations!

ERs report more issues too. My DH is affected by the Full Moon for 10 days with the Full Moon the 7th day of th 10. The last one was a humdinger. This one is different. L:ast time agitation waws the worst issue. This time so far it's confusion and physical symptoms. Never know how it will manifest--just know it will.

It's DH's memory that is so much worse. Didn't remember his long time friend and he seemed more confused than usual. I'm a wimp and it makes me cry. Is there a medication that keeps you from crying? He seems to be getting better today, though. Maybe it really was the full moon.
