A while ago Phranque said that when asked how his wife was doing he said with tongue in cheek that "she was doing so well that they put her on the poster". Well... the Alzheimer's Association of The Hudson Valley, NY has put a picture of my wife and daughter on the front of their new brochure. A dubious honor but perhaps the emotion triggered by this photo will prompt some to action. I scanned the brochure and posted it on the AZSPOUSE facebook page.
Thunder, just recently I was looking at your pictures on Facebook and thought how nice looking they both were! Bedtime for me now, but I will check out the poster tomorrow.
I will go look at it right away. Does it make you feel better or worse? I couldn't tell by your post. I imagine it is a mixed bag. Hang in their my friend. We have you in our thoughts.
It makes me feel good that Sharon is, in her own way, doing something to help fight this horrible disease even though she doesn't know it. Plus, to be honest, Sharon only had that look on her face because Kathleen had done about ten takes on the picture and she was getting pissed off. I am so proud of Kathleen and she does indeed love her mom so very much.
