Tracy has done it again. She has written a blog that will inspire all of us. I invite you to log onto the home page - www.thealzheimerspouse.com, and read Tracy's May Blog - Lemons or Lemonade.
Tracy is a true inspiration. Some days I can sit and really feel sorry for myself with all that has happened....John's illness, my own unpreparedness, family rifts and estrangement, financial woes. Then, I read something like what she has written or hear of someone else's work that has been done, driven by enormous hardship. I am very driven at times to DO SOMETHING to help educate young women to the facts of life...to become all they can be, learn about finance, how to manage their own lives, be on their own, etc., before dedicating themselves to a life partner, becoming a parent, being dependent on someone else for their strength and very life. I wish I had had that kind of guiding force in my life when I was younger. My own epitaph has become, "If you can't be a good example, be a WARNING!"......Now, "If life gives you lemons.....hey, FREE LEMONS!" Tracy IS using what she's been given in the most positive way! Applause! and, admiration.
Tracy, I think you are one brave and courageous lady. How you get through each day and still write the blogs is amazing. I wish you nothing but the best and many of God's blessings.
Tracy, you are amazing! What an incredibly positive attitude! And what a wonderful role model for all of us. Thank you for sharing your insights and allowing us a glimpse of life from your perspective.
Tracy's influence is reaching far and wide. I just received an e-mail from a journalist in the UK who said she has been moved to tears by Tracy's blogs. The journalist writes for a variety of magazines, and is writing an article about young women who have been diagnosed with dementia. She wanted to interview Tracy for inclusion in her article, but has to profile only women from the UK.
