I don't know if it's just because I'm having that kind of day, but I really liked the quote for today on my Mary Engelbreit calendar. It seemed to really apply to some of those extra-difficult caregiving days. The quote, by Gertrude Stein, is:
"The funny part of it all is that relatively few people seem to go crazy."
Anchor 20. The actual quote is "Everyone is created equal, but some are more equal than others" but perhaps the better quote is this" "Until a woman is free to be as incompetent as the average male then she will never be completely equal."Cunningham, Roseanna By-election campaign speech, May.
Hey phranque, I don't know about that other one, but mine is one my Dad came up with. He told me there was two things I should remember as I live life. That qoute was number one and number two was: Let my words be tender and sweat today, for tomorrow I may have to eat them. I'm not sure where he heard the second one but it is good advice. I like your second one too.
By the way, how did you come about the name phranque?
Anchor 20. I got the name Phranque, from my real name Frank. I got so tired of people asking me how do you spell it... Seemed to me that Frank could only be spelled one way..so One day, just out of phrustration, I spelled it... The stupid clerk kept asking me how to spell... DUH how can you misspell Frank?? so, sarcastically, I spelled it for her....phranque...get it??
