As many of you know my DH has gone on and on about the woman on the second floor and the job she supposedly wanted him to do. Last Monday I had our neighbour/friend come over and explain to him that the woman has no authority with the HOA and cannot give anyone a job nor collect any HOA fees which DH referred to as taxes! I don't know if it was that or our PCP suggestion to take 1,000mcg of B12. He said it might help DH's cognition. We are now on day 6 of no mention of the woman. YESSSSSS!

I hope I haven't jinxed anything and this is permanent but who knows?

    Jean21,

Vitamin B deficiency is one of the things they look for when testing for AD. The B vitamins help with clarity of thinking and stress, among many problems. Along with Aricept, the first thing Dr. S. prescribed for Sid was Metanx, a very high potency B complex that is available by prescription only ( insurance won't pay for it). He has been taking it for 3 years. Has it helped? It's the same old story of trying to prove a negative. Would he be worse if he hadn't been taking it? Who knows?

B-12.....hmmmmm. I've always given B-12 to my horses for muscle soreness and stress while in competition. So, if it works for humans in other ways....cognitive issues....WHY NOT!!
