On March 7, 2010, I will be among the hundreds of advocates at the Candlelight Vigil at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. We light candles to honor loved ones lost to AD. The Alzheimer's Association has made it possible for you to light a "virtual" candle and tell a story of your loved one. Copy and paste this link to light your candle: www.alz.org/virtualrally
I lit mine for my late mother-in-law. She passed away at age 92, complications from Alz. She retained her sense of humor right up to the end. Sweet lady.
I just lit two candles..one for Audrey and one for my mother in law... Is it ok to ask for a roman candle?? also, can I have it aimed at the White House?? and can they light mine first???? Is homeland security watching??
My 7 year old nephew and I both lit our candles in honor of my husband and our grandmother. My nephew's broke my heart. Its under Robert Mills from Cary.
