I haven't been on here for a while, life got pretty complicated for a time. I thought I would let you all know that my dear hubby died at home Jan 30, 2010. He died in my arms before the ambulance could get to us through 8 inches of snow and ice after suffering a seizer.

Gail*-- Peace be with you and your family as you embark on you new life, filled with all the good memories of BEFORE. Know you have won, seeing your DH down the Alz road and through the Tunnel and into the light of his new life--sans Alz. Go gently and freely into your AFTER. You've done well.

Thank you everyone for the kind words of comfort. It really helps to know there are those who care and can understand what it is like to lose not only your spouse but an "Alzheimer's" spouse. He was my best friend and my soul mate. He became my baby. I so miss the man he was and I even morn for the child he had become. Gail*
