Has anyone else heard this--Etta James was apparently diagnosed with AD about a year ago. She has recently been hospitalized for a bad infection, possibly MRSA. I just wondered how she is doing.
It was not announced that she had AD until the 2nd article about her illness. I figured immediately that it was AD when the article mentioned her "outburst" at Beyonce last year. Below is the article.
Joan, my dh has done outbursts for years. He'll lash out at people working for doctors, salespeople, you name it. It comes out suddenly, and always seems to catch me off guard. Of course, I'm the target of many of his outbursts through the years, in fact most of them. He doesn't do that much since he started the seroquel.
Sounds familiar... The outbursts have been coming for years, but I never attributed them to anything neurologically wrong. So far, Seroquel has been a lifesave for me, although in the past two weeks things have been a little worse. His neuro gave me a prescription for more pills than usual and told me to give him an extra one, if needed. But, he's so cognizant of how many pills to take; how do you get that extra pill in him without him knowing?
My husband thought his seroquel was a sleeping pill. When I put his evening pills out I gave him a choice of one or two. He liked being in control and always took two.☺
Joan-I could tell you-but then I'd have to shoot you☺ OK-you need to have a number pad on the rt side of your keyboard. Small lap tops won't. Press alt and 1 at the same time and voila!
OT: Re: symbols: That does NOT work on my computer. I'm just supposed to hold down the Alt key and a 1, for instance?? That's fun and I wanna do it and I don't have a number keyboard either..is there another way to do that on our smaller keyboards??. (Sorry Etta James... I really did love your music!)
My husband knows EXACTLY how many pills he has to take. If I gave him an extra one, he would make a big case of it and I'm absolutely terrible at "telling stories."
