The nursing staff reported that my DH was found Sleep WALKING in the hallway the other night!! He has not been able to walk unassissted in months and lately he has needed two people to help him transfer from his wheelchair. Have any of you experienced anything like this???

My DH can't talk but he talks in his sleep. Could this have something to do with AD not affecting their subconscious?

In my nursing practice I once had a patient who had a brain stem stroke leaving him almost a quad. Therapy worked very had with him with very little result. He was not able to follow directions. On night he got up, unlocked the front door and walked to the mailbox. Next day therapy tried again to work with him with again no result. It seemed the brain/body link was gone.

I've always had a tremor in my hands, mostly my right, since my 20's. Very slight. Unless you're holding my hand, you wouldn't know it. BUT, when I was sculpting, it would all GO AWAY. My husband, the doc, had a name for that kind of tremor, but I don't remember. Now, after my accident and the damage to the ulnar nerve on my right, the tremor is no more. Wierd.

During the week he was home prior into going to the hospice home my husband got out of bed on his own, came walking into the the living room, put his hands on his hips and said good morning sweetheart. Had not been able to walk unassisted for weeks prior to this this. But five minutes later he was back to his AD state.
