This article claims they will be able to diagnose AZ via a routine optical check. I think that would be great. I know it doesn't help the outcome, but for people like myself who's DH is in denial (or unaware) of his own problems, this would be an easy way to convince him......
Mary, thanks for sharing the article. The author did a nice job of talking about the pros and cons of earlier detection. I sometimes think that some thing would have been different if I had known a lot earlier about DH having the disease. I think I would have handled some situations a lot better and been more understanding.

Sometime last year I had read an article on this way to detect it. I can't remember where but it was some researcher in the US that was doing it. Wish I could remember. I sure hope it works out.
