On the homepage of this website - www.thealzheimerspouse.com, Joan has put some sites for families w/young, EOAD, a teen camp that might be helpful. Someone w/children at home will be along to give more direct help, I'm sure.

I don't know of a site for Alz with kids at home, but but the Well Spouse online community has a fair group of caring spouses with small children. http://www.wellspouse.org/forums/index.php I haven't been active there recently so I don't remember if there are any whose spouses have Alz, but in some cases MS seems to be not that different from early stages of Alz.

I may end up with a kid at home--my 16 year old is happy in boarding school but my 19 year old may be flunking out of college.

    jlj,

In the search at the top of this page, put in EOAD, and make sure the topic circle is filled in. There are at least a dozen EOAD topics, and many of them talk about the difficulties of raising young children while caring for an EOAD spouse.

Also, as Zibby said, on the left side of the home page - www.thealzheimerspouse.com- I have 4 resources for EOAD, and some of the articles discuss having young children at home. Including, as Zibby said, a support website for those children.
