Get Ocarina. It's .99. You actually play the thing on your iphone! They have a "leaf trombone too" .. and you can see other people, all over the world, playing when you do! Your spouse might even be able to make a few notes!
I like weatherbug--it has good weather reports for my small town. I use Notespark to keep information I need to be able to access at any time--I can cut and paste things like my husband's medication list into Notespark. I have some books downloaded on my itouch for times when I have to wait.
Yes, someone was reviewing the various ebook readers and said their favorite was the iphone.. because it was always with them; they didn't have to remember to take it with them like the kindle. I love it bec. it's got the backlit screen so you can read in the dark, but it's also good in broad daylight. I have the touch rather than the phone because I'm not much of a cellphone user and just have the simple tracfone.
I'll have to check out notespark. One favorite of mine is the $4.99 (i THINK) Peterson's guide to backyard birds, which is just updated and a lot better than the previous one. And i do have a few games to amuse me, short term.
