Joan, I hope your trip goes off without a hitch, but be prepared for anything. We tried a trip to the east coast in Sept. after consulting with Dr. We made St John New Brunswick and had to head for home. 19 hours latter life was good again. Happy Thanksgiving.
Joan, wishing you a safe and pleasant trip. And while you're in the windy city, enjoy the visits and care of family. Put your feet up, relax and enjoy.
Have a great time Joan. My Mom is heading for Chicago for Thanksgiving as well. One of my nephews is hosting it there and my brother is driving her (5 hours). I hope everyone has good travelling weather!
Joan, I hope your trip goes well. We also are traveling. We are in Austin since Sunday at our daughter's. DH is very confused, thinks we are going home today. Can't remember where our room is, sleeps a lot. We have been coming here for 10 years, twice a year. I think this is our last trip anywhere. It makes me so sad.
I cannot express how wonderful it is to be here with my sister, and my son came from SF. Sid is doing extremely well, and I am just thrilled to be with family.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. I am about to try to post my Thanksgiving blog.
Thanks to all of you for the good wishes. Thanksgiving Day was very special to me. It is the first time in 12 years that Joel was with us for the holiday, and we were all thrilled he made the trip.
We're not leaving until Monday, so we'll have a lot of time to visit.
Guess what I am doing? Nothing for a change. It seems so weird to me to be relaxed and doing no work, either around the house, for Sid, or for the website. My sister and son are waiting on me. Sid is mellowing out on the couch, either watching TV or playing with the dog. It feels odd to NOT be running around at break neck speed always doing something.
My sister and I did do some power shopping at Bath and Body Works. That took some energy.
When I return on Tuesday, I will be gearing up for lots of information and projects for December. Until then, I am enjoying my rest.
