wanted to let you all know how I am doing, I still cry alot but I no longer feel like there is no light at the end of this road, my grandchildren keep me busy, I went to a movie yesterday, I also found this poem set to music on youtube it is called IF TOMORROW STARTS WITHOUT ME, just go to youtube and type it in , it is for someone who lost or is losing someone, think you will all love it.I just wish I knew of it when we had Bob`s memorial. I am still trying to figure out the money situation but I have faith things will be ok. I am missing him more than ever today, he used to buy me yellow roses so I went and bought some yesterday in memory of my love. I hope to make it through the day without breaking down, my kids will all come over later, after work so I`m not alone all day, only time I`m told will heal the pain. Bless you all, and as for yelling at our loved ones at times, even the best intentions can make you do things you don`t want to do , it is only human to lose your cool once in awhile, I experenced that with my dh, I lost control a number of times , it was hard work taking care of someone who would yell at you and tell you, your wrong when you know your right, that post made alot of you think about abuse and we all know it is not what the caregiver wants to do we all love our spouses it just get hard and stressful. again Gog bless you all. Gail

In the language of roses, the yellow rose means "friendship." What a lovely thing to be 'friends' with your spouse. They are our partners, lovers and friends. Enjoy your yellow roses. It might be fun to splurge a little and have them delivered to your house once a week for a while.

Blessings, Marygail. Thank you for your lovely letter keeping us informed.

Marygail, so good to hear that you are doing better. I am for one thankful that you are continuing your postings. Caregivers that are still battleing this disease so desperately need the wisdom that you possess. Thank you for being so thoughtful in your time of sorrow. Yes, time does heal wounds but so do friends and the blessing of each day. God Bless and keep you,

Gail, the "first" everything is difficult - first week, first month, first year, first anniversary, first birthday. We get through it. You are starting to come out on the other side. I'm so glad, and I thank you for letting us know that. Your idea to buy yourself yellow roses is lovely.
