    Joan, I think the Administrator of azspouse (Clare) has to accept you into the group. I tried but can't even find your request to join.

    Yes, I remember trying to get into azspouse and having some difficulties. It is a closed group as a safety issue. I think what I did was ask Clare to be my friend, and as part of the intro message I sent her, also ask to be let into azspouse.

    I am 61 years old. A webcam of me without a bra would be considered a horror movie no one would want to see. Not even me.

    Hi all, I've joined facebook and have gotten into our group. It's still overwhelming to me but hope to find the time to figure out who is who soon. I'm Terry Lang on facebook and keeping my bra on - thanks for the warning phranque!

    Hope it helps - I am there as Ruth Boshart (rbosh) you will see my photo with my husband Ron.

    All you have to do to connect from your page in FB is look at the bottom of the first page you reach after signing in. Applications will be on the lower left side nest to that - you will see several icons. There is one there that has a silhouette at appears to be two people together - click there and you will be taken to the group page. azspouse is the group with the large sunflower.

    If you have problems, please let me know and I will try to help you.

    This is an addition to what Ruth said. alzspouse is a closed group. You have to ask the administrator of the group to allow you to join, and she has to accept you into the group. Clare Durst (briegull) is the administrator. Once you are accepted by Clare, you can get to the site as Ruth explained. When I wanted to join, I posted a request to Clare on the message boards here.

    I have a Facebook thingy too but chat to the family lightly..I shun talking about anything on a forum like that one that is too personal. And I don't want the kids and their friends reading what I might say on the site for fear of scaring them with something I have yet to discuss with them. They are great kids and very supportive but I don't want our family serious health issue out there for the friends to read..So I won't go there for AD discussions. I personally feel that if we here on Joan's safe well protected site want to chat off site with one another Joan has provided a way to do that.

    Last week or two I have posted on FB about some of the issues dealing with DW or validating someone else's comment. I soon was contacted by some church members and offered to take DW out for an afternoon.
    She had a great time and it has made her know that there are some others willing to help! We may not be related by blood but in spirit.
