Just read the Alz Assoc update that Phase III Alzheimer's drug, Dimebon, raises level of a toxic protein. Has anyone else read this? This was shown in mouse models. Maybe doesn't apply to humans.
I haven't read that. Exactly what does the raised levels of toxic protein do, how do you test for this and how does this mouse model translate in what happens in people? I guess I shouldn't ask questions but should read the info!! Thanks for the heads up on this. My DH has finished the trial phase and started on the real medication. I'm still hoping for the best...
