SusanL is in the hospital in Waterville Me, getting a bit of respite. She cannot use her cellphone, but there is a phone nr for the facility. If you email me, I will send it to you. She is in definite need of a long rope, and your prayers will certainly cheer her up.

Hi everyone, thank you sooo much for all the love and prayers that you sent my way. Frank, what can I say, you are my Sunshine! My family saw me as the Rock, the strong one, the survivor. Well, this rock crumbled, no one heard my cries for help until it was almost too late. I suddenly found myself in a black hole and could not see a way out. Divine intervention saved me and got me to the most amazing facility where I was loved, hugged and understood. The respite was more than I ever knew was out there. The staff was an amazing group of men and women who without fail always found time to stop and talk when I needed them. I accidentlally ended up with a roommate who lost her husband 6 years ago when she was 46. Wow, did we talk. The hospital was bright and clean, cheery and relaxing. Groups were quiet and spiritual, noisy with debate, creative with art and always loving and compassionate. The food was too good, I need to get busy if in order to look my best for the CRUISE! Yes, I'm going. I am hoping to meet my comic angel, Frank and so many of you in person! I can't wait for real hugs from all of you, my guardian angels. I still have a long way to go with therapy and new meds are helping, a new psychiatrist is on board to guide me and I now know what to do when I feel scared, lonely or down. Now my mornings will begin with 15 prescribed minutes to worry ;o) 15 minutes to think about what I am grateful for, and then a few minutes to make a Do-able to do list. Dylan is still in the hospital, I will see him and Jim tomorrow. Drs are beginning to think he may have a High Functioning type of Autism. We will see. I wouldn't be surprised.

    With much love and gratitude,
    Susan

DR'S told us today they do not think he has Asberger's or any other form of Autisim. So we wait. Meeting, I'm attending via speaker phone :o) (Learning how to take care of ME). So we will hear their recommendations, possibly a short stay at his former residential home to give me more time to heal. Arms around, Susan

Dear Susan, My friend Cathi has a 9 year old austistic son. He is non-verbal, and quite the handful. I'm so grateful your little guy doesn't have that. I hope you can find help to deal with his needs as you regroup and get back on your feet. Wish we could all listen in on your meetings and try the techniques on ourselves. NOT that a one of us has had to deal with as much as you have. Can't wait to see you in February. Bless you. Love,Nancy
