I just looked out the window & there is a full moon. I was wondering why my husband has been such a Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde today. One minute he will not do anything I ask & the next he is as gentle as a lamb.
Did take divvi advice & promised M&M Peanuts if he was a good boy about taking his clothes off for his shower. It worked this time.

When you look at the full moon, notice the planet to the right (today, it was left yesterday). That is Jupiter. How do I know? Jupiter has a bunch of moons, so the big one next to it must be one of them!!!!!:-)

What is it about candy? A regression thing, I guess. I cannot go in a store and get to the checkout counter without discovering that he's grabbed a bag of M&Ms or spice drops. He's always liked them, but didn't pick them up obsessively, everywhere we went like he does now.

Full moon on 12/31/09. Is that a Blue Moon and does it have any special connotations?

Marsh I just looked out at the moon-fantastic! Gives me a good feeling to know we can all share the same moon. A wonderful closeness to each other. Several years ago there was a lunar eclipse. I starting calling my three kids and we all watched it together. We live far apart but for that event we were as one.

Oh yes I have noticed also. I went to a football game with my grand son and first thing I noticed was the moon. Then I realized that DH behavior should have alerted me. I just hate that I have a 3 day weekend during a full moon, what a waste of good time off.

The effects have already started here!

By observing DH during the Full Moon and seeing the effects on him---magnifies agitation, confusion, iritability,etc.--I've figured out thge span of timne it affects him and have worked out a plan of med adjustiments starting 6 days before amnd extending for about 3daysaf ter the Full Moon. By doing this we don't have as much difficulty. DH has on several occasions remarked that he feels different and did I fix his meds?

Don't know whether we're in a full moon effect, but hb went to bed about 10, up at 3, back to bed "sometime." Then slept until 1. I couldn't wake him up for breakfast or to get ready for church. Went back to sleep about 1:30, and I can't wake him now (3:30). Hope he doesn't stay awake all night. However, I had the most peaceful, restful morning while he slept. Respite! I did relaxing breathing exercises, slept, prayed, read, slept while soft music played. It was wonderful. If this is full moon effect for us, bring it on!
