If anyone is interested and watch this show, this episode on July 15th is my son's house in Ft. Lauderdale. (He did de-clutter - but the house hasn't sold!)
129 - Fort Lauderdale, FL Saturday, July 25 8:30am ET Kevin decorated his Florida dream home exactly to his tastes. However, his tastes are so far out there, people are practically running away from his house. Upon entering, there are hundreds of little eyes peering at you from every angle imaginable. Who do those peering eyes belong to you might ask? They are from the 50 or so stuffed birds, frogs, and small animals that are hanging from 20 foot garlands, perched on ornamental molding, and stuffed onto practically every inch of counter and floor space available. And these animals only make up a fraction of the clutter spread around this entire house. It's going to take the entire three days just to pack all this stuff away...that is if Kevin can detach himself enough to let us take it down. He's resistant to each and every idea designer Roger Hazard has. Tanya Memme hosts.
Sandi, it's a gorgeous house and grounds and the clutter is not near what they said it was. I've seen the episode and they really didn't concentrate on all the great attributes of the home. Will tell you more after you've seen it if you can watch.
Great, Vickie...I am looking forward to it....I suppose if they only showed the good side of things no one would watch...I hope he sells it soon. From my friend, who is a Realtor in Miami, the market has really improved there.
