Kitty's beloved cat is missing. Kitty is in temporary housing and of course Katrina doesn't know the area yet. Kitty needs her cat back home. Just when things were finally looking up for her.
Kitty, I'm so sorry Katrina is missing. Once when we moved our cat kept returning to our previous home. Have you checked with you husband to see if she is there?
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE, KATRINA, KATRINA, KATRINA!!!!! Oh, Kitty, she'll most likely show up sooner or later. I can't tell you how many cats I've had, stray, or otherwise that I've moved with.....they stay away for a while then find their way back.....they have innate instincts. Just keep praying for her return. I have two beloved "barn cats" that wouldn't even understand what the inside of a people house is....never been inside. They're my "workers". Sometimes I get so worried when one of them goes missing.....sometimes for two weeks or more. They always come back. Keep the faith and we'll keep your kitty in our prayers, promise. SEE? Angels are watching over THEM, too! I had a ferret ("Honey Bear") that went missing for a whole day.....I actually had the plumbers over to take apart my hot tub....there was a place where she could have gotten in behind it and I was convinced she'd wedged herself in there....suddenly, she just APPEARRED behind these guys as they were ready to take the electric saw to the woodwork!!! Just looking at them! I just about screamed, I loved that little bity thing so much! Anyway, no harm was done to the woodwork at least. My nerves were shot. No one had told me that those things sleep 16-18 hours a day!!!! She'd been holed up SOMEwhere. Glad Katrina is home. (I love my cat)
Oh, I never let her outside here. I thought she had escaped when 3 firemen came to check out a butterfly bush my friend thought had been hit by lightening. I was taking a shower & the firemen came downstairs to check out a closet where I thought I smelled a gas leak. (They smelled it too.) I hadn't seen Katrina since before the firement came & that was morning. It had been hours & I was convinced she had to be outdoors. She apparently was napping in some secret hiding place indoors. Last night she slept in bed with me for the first time in 5 years. She knows she's not allowed on the bed, but I think she wanted to comfort me, so I let her stay, I was so glad to see her. And we both slept great. After I found her, my friend & I got on a laughing kick about her asking the fire department to check out the gas. That's supposed to be done by the gas company.
Thanks for your concern & well wishes! She had me scared.
