Just wanted to let you all know that our daughter has called off the wedding. It was a joint decision between her and her fiance. He will be moving back to Massachusetts and she will be staying here in Maine. It was a good decision for many reasons. Thanks for your continued support.

Yes, it was the best decision for all, as sad as that was. I think Courtney needs to have her independence, neither of them have ever lived on their own. She is 29, he is 32, they have known each other since they were 16, it was time to go their seperate ways as they had grown apart and as it turns out were together for all the wrong reasons. I think Courtney's self-esteem will soar with her new found independence. I can hope right??????
