Dear Friends, our own Mary has had an emergency from her daughter in Hawaii. all we know she has pneumonia and drs issued code blue- mary and family are flying to hawaii first flights out. please keep Mary and Diane in your thoughts and prayers today -we know how much positive thoughts can help- i know she is the kind of person who will be grateful for keeping her close to us during this trying time. divvi
Oh, I am so sorry. You all are in my thoughts and prayers today. I somewhat know how you feel - being so far away. My son (the one waiting on kidney and pancreas transplants) was admitted to hospital last Monday with pneumonia - and also a code blue. It's terrible to be 1500 miles away from him! He is still in the hospital - but, will survive.
I have emailed her, told her I was sending healing blue light to Diane. Told her we would all be with her in spirit as she journeys to Hawaii. Love to you Mary.
depends on layovers, but a long time. We flew out of Colombus Ohio and it was VERY long. I am not quite up to that much in-air flight, but if the opportunity presented itself, I would go again.
My daughter went to Hawaii earlier last month. I think there is about 7 hours difference (earlier0 in their time from Central Daylight Time. I'm sure it will be a very long flight - hope she takes a sleeping pill...because she won't sleep the night after she gets there,..more than likely.
Mary....just bought 1500 miles of rope for you, and tied lots and lots of knots to help hold on. All of us here are holding the other end of the rope and we will not let go...You are important and in my thoughts and prayers...
Different hospitals use different "codes" for various emergency situations. Red and Blue are generally used for severe emergency patients - but not everywhere - like cardiac arrest, etc. There are different code colors for different situations.
HERE IS WHAT MARY WROTE ON FACEBOOK, JUST BEFORE SHE LEFT, "We are in prayer for my daughter Diane, who became ill with fly symptoms in Hawaii while on vacation. She is in the ER on life support and is listed as very critically ill. They can't get her blood pressure up and her kidneys have shut down. We are flying out on the first available flight to be by her side. We need your prayers." Mary, you and Diane are in the prayers of one of the most powerful groups in the world, Alspouse Caregivers, we are all reaching out to you in support. So hang on my friend, you are not alone. Keep us posted if you are able. Love, Susan
