Everyone but me must have seen your TV interview. Divvi has tried to send me a link to it and I can't find it. Would you share that with me. It's so neat to have an picture in my mind when I read the posts. (Especially when I can remember who is who..between their Facebook actual names and their AS Screen names!!)
Is it harder to be a caregiver when you are a doctor and recognize the stages and health conditions of your loved one? I think we have a new member who is a Gerontologist..and I assume he is also a caregiver. Although most of us are good students of AS and aware of the challenges our spouses face daily. I would think it would be twice as hard for you. I appreciate your posts - and hope you can send another link to your TV interview...now that you're "famous and all that!!" ;-)
NancyB, I seem to have deleted my link to the TV. It's in one of these discussions, but I can't remember where. Maybe Divvi could try again to send you the link. Or maybe Joang kept it somewhere. Sorry. Who is the Gerontologist? I'm not sure whether it is worse knowing what is going to happen, or having it occur without any warning. Several times when my wife would ask me what is wrong with her, I would reply "I know, but wish I didn't"
I can't possibly read every post (My reader does that to alert me to anything inappropriate), so I totally missed that. I am so sorry. What a great story and video. I will bring it the attention it deserves - I will put it on the home page - if it is okay with you. Thank you, Charlotte, for finding it.
