Hey, everyone....there's been talk of FaceBook and MySpace and folks setting up pages of their own. I just did that. I find MySpace to be more fun and interesting to view. Easier to post pictures, blog, even can share my 'music of the day' with friends. I'm confused about things on FaceBook and don't find it as user friendly. I'm at MySpace under the name of StuntGirl....on the FaceBook, I'm Jennifer Canton. See you there?
  1.
Which Jennifer Canton are you? (There are 3 pages of them on FB.)

Stuntgirl, I do hope you enjoy that site. The information here is so well maintained and easy to find and such a great help to people in need of assistance with their spouses . I hope that you will refer people in need here for assistance. I know I was referred here from another site and I have gained so much. This site is so much easier to learn from and the responce time of everybody here is fantastic.

I am sure that site will be a lot of fun for those that are interested in posting and viewing pictures, blogging and sharing the 'music of the day'. It may be a great way to let go of some of the stress that many have everyday. A kind of mental holiday.

One way to increase visits to this forum would be for Joan to set up a facebook group for TheAlzheimerSpouse.com that would describe the purpose and function of her website. Then people on facebook could become a "fan" which would advertise the site to other facebook friends, and would come up when anyone on facebook did a search on "alzheimer's"

I haven't tried the MySpace thing yet, I would be concerned about having my info and my life exposed to so many people. But I would enjoy participating with you folks.
