Marsh, Did you have a problem getting the Silver Sonic to sit firmly in your wifes ear? DH keeps saying it kind of flops around. He is asking me if it is in properly!!!! I told him, only he would know. If you have any tips I would appreciate hearing them. BTW, I used the smallest ear piece and trimmed it down a bit.
I've had similar problems. The best I can suggest is be sure the ear piece is firmly around the external ear, and the tip is well in the ear canal. Maybe the ear piece is too small now that you have trimmed it down a bit. My wife is getting to accept it better, but still sometimes asks me what it is. Also, since she cannot adjust the volume, I check it in my ear before putting it in hers. She cannot tell me whether or not she is hearing better, but I notice that she pays more attention to conversation when it is in.
Thanks Marsh I will try the next size up for the ear piece and if that doesn't work I will try the largest. Although I won't be surprised if DH decides the Silver Sonic isn't worth a s--t. That's what he always says when things aren't absolutely perfect. It's the same with any OTC med. He thinks they should work the first time he tries it!!!!
