    I have not been on in awhile. Gene went to a NH 3 weeks ago. He passed away 3-6-08. He had stopped eating and taking fluids on Monday, he was out it until he died on Thursday night. I was glad he did not linger long and had a peaceful time. As they say he is in a better place now free of this DD.

    I will leave Tues morning for Texas to be with my sisters. The trip was already planned. Then I will go back to Kansas with my sister. I will be gone 2 weeks. I will come back here when I am ready. Now I think a break from AD is what I need to get a life back. Thank you all for your support.

    I am so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. I do hope you can rest now and recuperate from these last few weeks of physical and emotional suffering. Thank you for letting us know so that we won't be concerned about your absence.

    I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear husband. You deserve to take all the time you need to heal and get away from the AD world. My best wishes to you as you embark on a new, and hopefully better journey.

    Dear Barbarakay,

    I am so very sorry to hear about Gene's passing. My heart and prayers are with you during this time and you definately deserve to take all the time you need to heal.

    I enjoyed being able to share our thoughts through this board. When I did not hear from you, I was starting to get very concerned and I was going to take a trip to your sister's store "The Gatherings" in Corpus Christi. I believe this is where you told me to drop by and say "Hi" to her. I live in Calallen, just about 20 minutes from the Bay Front in Corpus Christi.
