Okay. I just came home from the pharmacy where I had a Rx of John's refilled. Neighbor stayed with him while I did that...a BIG man). Same pharmacy we've used for years. Pharmacist remembers John. I had the cruelest shock (at least in the last few hours)....They can find no record of his being enrolled in Medicare any longer. PLUS, his supplemental insurance, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, has been cancelled. I REMEMBER SENDING ALL THE INFORMATION about that policy to his sister, as she had requested some time ago. WHAT DO I DO NOW????? I'm keeping a seperate ledger of everything I'm spending on his care. WOW, it really sounds to me like the family sent him to the nursing home to DIE, never believing I was serious enough to bring him out of there!

Jen-on Monday you need to call the Medicare Coordinator of Benefits to clarify coverage. You will need your husband's MC card with the day of start of service. If no one has been paying for his supplement then he may not have it any more.
