I read a thread a while back tht mentioned pull on or elastic waist pants and that they were available at Penny's.
I can't find that thread now and have been unable to locate them at Penny's online. Does anybody have the brand of the pants of another source I can try? I am just so tired of fighting buttons and zippers, and I'm not sure I want to put DH in sweats or lounging pants all the time.
  1.
Blair.com has the best ones I have found for my husband. They have elastic all the way around, zipper and belt loops. My husband just pulls them up. They come in denim, beige and other colors I believe. Also , they have a nice sweat pant with a seam down the front which makes it look neater. The blue and gray I match up with a colored knit shirt to match or co-ordinate. I have had the Penney's and the elastic is not tight enough for my husband.

Haband.com is another good source. All kinds with elastic waists or 1/2 elastic, colors, fabrics, styles and sizes Small through 4X or bigger. Prices aren't bad either. Also have all styles of shirts--Tees through dress. Dress clothes, PJs, underwear, andWomens things too (though I've had trouble with the sizes on the womens things--never the mens). Even shoes and other stuff.

Imohr and carosi, thank you both. It will give me a starting point. Hopefully I can keep DH dressed fairly nicely.

I think I got the last 2 Penney's had! Now all they have is cargo pants with full elastic waist. And he's outgrown the 32s and now the 34s, I'm going to have to get 36s.

gmaewok-might not be as spiffy as you like-but the better sporting goods stores do carry very nice jogging pants with elastic waist.

i have about a dozen or more of sharp looking 'jog-type' sets that come in a variety of materials for winter in soft cozy velour fabrix and in summer silk ones or lite weights -i found them at our local dillairds dept stores and our blairs too. nike has some nice sets, and i get a matching colored tee or polo to coordinate, it looks very nice and he is comfortable. no fighting with any zippers or visible stains that can happen, on dress pants now. i do have some softer microfabric slacks for dress and he does well in these as well but i have to help with zippers. divvi

The Haband ones are advertised in my local AARP newspaper this month. They are called Casual Joe No Iron Slacks. Full stretch waist, belt loops, front zipper and snap top, pockets on side and back (with buttons). Multiple colors and sizes. 2 for $29.99 and free postage. Use order number 711-0751E at Haband.com or 1-800-543-4810 to get the sale price.

I've bought online from these ads in the past. If you use the correct style number (which I gave you) you will get the sale price. However, do not order anything else on the same order from Haband or you won't get the free postage. Made that mistake once.

Thank you. I just ordered 2 pair of the Haband ones. They look like they'll work fine. I'm also going back to the site to see if there is anything else that will work. And I want to check Blair. I appreciate all the help.

I bought them at Kohls. the bad thing about those is no zipper, just an opening, Not so good. But nowadays I'm using them as PJ's as well as during the day, this way he's always dressed since he hardly ever takes off his PH's.
