My DW and I sometime snuggle at night when we are going to bed. Not sex, just a real sweet snuggle. But about 3 weeks ago we started doing it in the morning before we got up. Carol would often initiate it but often it was just both of us touching and patting. I do not have my hearing aids on yet so I don't understand what she is saying. But if I don't rush it I am now convinced that it really helps us get started good and we seem to stay good for most of the day. Many of the other spouses have mentioned cuddling or snuggling and I'm wondering if you think it gets the day started positively. I have written before that my motto is to Keep Carol Happy!!!!!!!! She is always right and I try real hard to avoid any confrontations. But the snuggles in the AM are the best way to have a good day
Bill, I agree. MY DH and I have always had coffee in bed every morning before we get up, dressed, etc. We spend about 45 min to an hour just drinking coffee and talking, snuggling. It's a great way to start the day and we both enjoy it. That's usually his best time of the day, so it makes us both happy!
I also agree. I am always busy, and am often zonked out when he comes to bed at night. But often, if we wake up earlier than I need to get started on my work, we'll snuggle and cuddle. It makes us both feel loved and wanted.
My husband is up and dressed and waiting at the door for me to let him out from about 4 a.m. on, so our snuggling is at the end of the day and before I leave for work. <sigh>
